This Privacy Policy explains how Mappa ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our mobile application. By using Mappa, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Mappa itself does not require you to create an account and does not directly collect personally identifiable information such as your name or address. However, third-party services integrated into the App collect certain data automatically, as described below.

1.1 Advertising Data (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the App. AdMob may collect and process data such as:

Device identifiers (e.g. Advertising ID / IDFA)
IP address and approximate location
Device information (model, OS version, language)
App interaction data (ad impressions, clicks)

This data is used to serve and measure advertisements, and may be used for ad personalization unless you opt out via your device settings. Google's use of this data is governed by the Google Ads and Data Use Policy.

1.2 Analytics and Crash Reporting (Firebase)

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to understand how the App is used and to identify and fix crashes. These services may collect:

Device identifiers and device/OS information
App usage data (screens viewed, features used, session length)
Crash logs and diagnostic data
Approximate location (derived from IP address)

This data is used solely to improve app stability and user experience and is processed under Google's Privacy Policy.

2. How We Use Information

Data collected via the services above is used to:

App Tracking Transparency (iOS): On iOS, you will be asked for permission before the App or its partners track you across other apps and websites, in compliance with Apple's ATT framework.

6. Data Retention

Data collected by third-party services is retained according to their own retention policies. We do not independently store analytics or advertising data on our own servers.

7. Security

We rely on the security measures provided by our third-party service providers (Google AdMob, Firebase) to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
